Each answer links to the page with the detail. ## Getting started ### Is there a free trial of Cogny Cloud? No. Cogny pays for the inference behind every report and ticket, so a free trial would mean burning that on your behalf. Plans are month to month: sign up, use it for a month, cancel if it is not for you. The [interactive demo](/demo) shows the real screens with a voice guide, and the Free plan lets you connect tools and try the chat with a small gift of credits. ### How long does setup take? About an hour with the person who holds access to your tools in the room. Two to three minutes of that is the wizard provisioning your warehouse. Around an hour a week once it is running: the Monday report and the Tuesday ticket pass. Expect 10 to 20 hours in the first month while you calibrate the first twenty tickets and fix tracking gaps. ### Is Cogny a managed service or a tool? It is a tool with an optional human-in-the-loop retainer. Someone on your side approves tickets weekly. The retainer exists for teams that want the first months run for them. ### Can I run several brands or businesses in one workspace? One workspace per website and business model. Several markets, languages or business lines under one business are fine; describe the split in the growth strategy. Agencies use one workspace per client. ### Does Cogny work in Swedish, German, Spanish or Finnish? Yes. The agent writes in the language you use and per market when the strategy says so. Voice dictation works in non-English languages too. ## Data and integrations ### Do I need Semrush or Ahrefs? No. Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools cover what the agent needs. A domain-rating tool and web search are built in. ### Why is my report empty on day one? Data accrues from the day you connect. The GA4 and Search Console links into BigQuery take 48 to 72 hours to start and do not backfill history. Reports are meaningful from the end of week one. ### Does Cogny track my website? No. It reads your tracking (GA4, Tag Manager, pixels). If a conversion is not tracked, the first ticket should be to track it. ### Can Cogny read data from a tool it has no integration for? Often. Add any standard MCP server by URL, upload exports with Bring Your Own Data, or use Wish for an MCP: paste a link to the tool's API docs and Cogny researches whether it can build the connector. ### Can Cogny post organic social or manage my Instagram? No. The ad platforms do not allow the same app to do paid and organic. A separate publishing product can be steered from Cogny, but do not expect organic reach from it. ### Will Meta or Google penalise my account for using AI? Cogny uses its own developer access with each platform, every write is approval-gated, and everything is logged. The platforms know what Cogny does. ## Content and code ### Does Cogny work with WordPress? Yes, with limits. Posts land as drafts you publish, and some technical fixes are manual. For content-led growth, moving the marketing site to code unlocks the full loop. ### Will Cogny push changes to my site by itself? Never for code. The coding agent opens a pull request with a preview deployment; you merge. For CMS content, publishing can be gated on approval or, if you choose, automated above a confidence threshold. ### Does Cogny make images, video or display ads? Images, yes, with built-in generation, and a TV ad can be produced for geo-targeted campaigns. Quality is not at human-creative level; upload your own assets and let Cogny run the optimisation. ### My site is a single-page app or a no-code builder. Does that matter? Yes. Client-side rendering blocks both the coding agent and search crawlers. A public, server-rendered marketing site, or a code project routed under one path of your site, is often the first project. ### Does Cogny do A/B testing? Not traffic splitting. It deploys variants and compares them over time, and paid platforms' own ad-group testing is the mechanism for ads. Use a dedicated experimentation tool if you need true splits. ## Results ### When will I see results? Paid search and conversion fixes can move within days. Organic on an established domain shows within weeks; a brand-new domain takes two to three months and benefits from some paid traffic to raise crawl budget. Customers who produce content consistently report meaningful organic and AI-visibility gains within a month or two. ### Does Cogny forecast ROI per ticket? Not as a forecast field. Set core metrics and targets, and the analysis step measures every executed ticket after data accrues. Winners get more; losers get recorded so they are not proposed again. ### Can Cogny tell me where my ideal customers spend time? Not from a demographic database. Describe the customer in the growth strategy and it tests channels and remembers what worked. ## Credits and plans ### What is a Cogny credit? Roughly one Swedish krona, about ten US cents, of model or data cost at a small margin. See [credits and plans](/docs/credits-and-plans). ### What do 5,000 credits get me? A mixed month of four or five weekly reports plus twenty to thirty content pieces, or roughly twenty coded pages. A campaign ticket is 30 to 40 credits; a fully coded page a couple of hundred. ### What happens when I run out of credits? Chat, scheduled reports and ticket automation pause until you top up or the plan refills. Nothing is lost. ### Can I use my own Claude or ChatGPT with Cogny? Yes, over MCP, alongside the app. Your agent's reasoning is billed to your subscription; Cogny meters only the integration calls. Cogny continuously tests and evaluates the best model for each purpose in the workflow and routes each step accordingly, with EU-hosted options for workspaces that need data to stay in Europe. Data lives in a Google Cloud project dedicated to your workspace in the EU. Cogny Shield masks personal data before it reaches a model. ### Can I see what the agent changed? Yes. The MCP write ledger records every write, tickets keep their logs and evaluations, reports keep their queries, and code changes are pull requests. ### How do I make Cogny stop doing something? Reject the ticket with the reason, or write the rule in the growth strategy. To remove a capability entirely, block the tool under the integration's permissions. ### How do I delete everything? Settings → Account → Account.
