# Reports and Templates

How scheduled reports work, which templates to enable first for your kind of business, cadence and adaptive scheduling, custom instructions, email delivery, and what reports cost.

Reports are scheduled analyses. Each run reads your data and context, reasons in SQL and through your integrations with every query traceable, and produces a report with a summary, the underlying data, data-quality notes and recommended actions for the week. A second agent turns the recommendations into tickets. Reports are the engine; everything else feeds it or consumes it.

## Where

Top navigation → **Reports**. The left column has Quick Actions and the list of scheduled reports. The right column shows recommended templates first, then the full library grouped by category. Enabling a template creates a scheduled report, snapshots its default cadence, and **runs the first analysis immediately**.

Under Quick Actions → Create new you can also write a **Custom Scheduled Report** with your own instructions ("I have a Monday meeting at 9. Before 7:30 I need MQLs, pipeline created and cost per MQL by channel, with three suggestions"), and, on workspaces with automations enabled, create an Autonomous Operator job or a Content from data loop (see [automations and loops](/docs/automations-and-content-loops)).

## The template library

There are more than 50 templates in five categories. Each declares which integrations it needs, a default cadence, and whether it is fixed or adaptive.

**Performance Signals** (weekly monitoring): SEO Performance Signals, SEM Performance Signals, Paid Social Performance Signals, E-commerce Performance Signals, Email Marketing Optimization, GEO & Search Visibility, AI Search Optimization Audit, GEO Conversion Report, Search Intent Playbook, CRO Weekly Revenue Signals, Landing Page & Conversion Funnel, Local SEO & City Pages, Web Analytics Signals for privacy platforms, Framer Site Signals.

**Paid Media Audits** (biweekly deep dives): optimisation audits for Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Snapchat, Bing, Apple Search Ads, OpenAI Ads and Google App campaigns, plus Cross-Channel Performance.

**Creative & Audiences**: Content Intelligence, Audience Intelligence & ICP Validation, Creative & Messaging Performance, Competitor Ad Intelligence, historic-winner analyses for Google and Meta, adjacent ideation, influencer allocation, customer conversation insights, community analysis.

**Executive & Strategy**: Core Metrics Drivers, CEO Executive Business Signals, B2B Sales Pipeline, Revenue & Cohort Analysis, Budget Planning & Forecasting, Churn, Subscription Revenue, Profit & Cash Signals, Experimentation ROI, Zeitgeist Positioning.

**Data & Tracking**: Data & Tracking Quality, Conversion Rate Optimization Weekly Signals, Structured Data & Schema Audit, Connection & Setup Verification.

Recommendations are computed from your connected integrations. Templates that need only GA4, or nothing at all, never appear as recommendations even though they are among the most useful: CRO, Data & Tracking Quality, Landing Page & Conversion Funnel, Conversion Rate Optimization and CEO Signals. Find them in the full grid.

## Which to enable first

Start with three or four. Every report costs credits, and the value is in reading them, not in having them.

**Every workspace**

- **Connection & Setup Verification**, once, right after connecting.
- **Data & Tracking Quality**, weekly, until it stops finding problems, then biweekly.
- **Core Metrics Drivers**, weekly, once [core metrics](/docs/core-metrics) exist.

**SEO and content-led growth** (the most common Cloud starting point)

- **SEO Performance Signals** (weekly) and **Structured Data & Schema Audit** (monthly, first run now). Schema is unglamorous and powerful: it checks pages against a standard that changes often and, on a code site, can inject the fix.
- **Search Intent Playbook** (biweekly) if Google Ads is connected. It finds converting paid search terms with no matching organic page and creates the page: organic clicks, a better quality score so cheaper paid clicks, and content that reads like the prompt someone types into an assistant.
- **Content Intelligence** (biweekly): rewrites titles and descriptions to match the queries pages already rank for. One of the reference workspaces has run it weekly for eight months with a 1,200-character custom instruction about tone and target pages.
- **GEO & Search Visibility** if being cited by AI assistants matters to you.
- **Local SEO & City Pages** for businesses with locations.

**Paid media**

- The audit for each platform with meaningful spend, biweekly (weekly above a few thousand dollars a month).
- **SEM Performance Signals** or **Paid Social Performance Signals** weekly as the monitor.
- **Cross-Channel Performance** biweekly once two or more channels are connected.

**E-commerce**

- **E-commerce Performance Signals** weekly (daily in peak season), **CRO Weekly Revenue Signals**, **E-Commerce Creative & Product Page Analysis**.

**B2B and lead generation**

- **B2B Sales Pipeline Weekly Signals** with HubSpot, **Audience Intelligence & ICP Validation**, **Landing Page & Conversion Funnel**.

**Leadership**

- **CEO Executive Business Signals** weekly and **Profit & Cash Signals** monthly with Fortnox.

A reference workspace two years in runs six: Content Intelligence, Data & Tracking Quality, Cross-Channel Performance, E-commerce Performance Signals, Core Metrics Drivers, and a custom monthly report, and has retired several it stopped reading.

## Cadence and adaptive scheduling

Each report has a schedule: daily, weekly, monthly, or a cron expression, with a random minute so runs are spread out. Cron times are evaluated in Stockholm time.

Timing can be **Fixed** (always on schedule) or **Adaptive**: the agent picks its own next run based on how much has changed, so a slow-moving SEO report might wait two weeks while a paid report during a launch runs sooner. Most templates default to adaptive. Use fixed when a human meeting depends on the report landing before it.

**Run Now** on any report runs it immediately without changing the schedule.

## Custom instructions

Each scheduled report has **Your Custom Instructions**, appended after the template when it runs. Use them for report-specific guidance: which pages or campaigns to focus on, what to ignore, output language, format preferences. Rules that should apply everywhere belong in the [growth strategy](/docs/context-and-growth-strategy) instead.

## Email delivery

Reports are emailed only to recipients you tick under **Email Recipients** in the report's settings, chosen from workspace users. Nothing is emailed until someone is selected, so set this when you enable the report. Give the report a subject line the recipients will recognise on a Monday morning.

Some marketing teams use only this: the report arrives at 8:00 before the 9:00 Monday meeting, and the dashboards get retired.

## What a report contains

Every insight block follows the same shape: a summary, the underlying data and charts, data-quality notes (what the agent could not verify), and recommended actions for the week. Queries are visible, so a sceptical analyst can check them. Reports also write to organisational memory so the next run does not repeat itself.

## Cost hygiene

- Reports are the largest steady credit consumer after coding. Three or four weekly reports plus ten content pieces a month fits comfortably inside the Cloud allowance; ten reports nobody reads does not.
- Disable rather than delete when pausing; the history stays.
- During a site migration, reports get polluted by the moving target. Pause them and re-run once the new site is live.
- Templates that need a source you have not connected will not produce much. Connect the source first.
