APSIS One Is Live in Cogny: Email Sendings, Segments and Subscriber Profiles for Your Agent
APSIS One is the email and marketing platform a lot of Nordic retailers and brands send from. Until now its numbers stayed inside APSIS while the rest of the funnel — ads, GA4, the store — sat in Cogny. APSIS One is now a live MCP integration, so your agent can read your sendings and audiences next to everything else.
You connect it with one API key you create yourself in APSIS One. No OAuth redirect, no region to pick.
TL;DR
- APSIS One is live now. Connect it with an API key's client ID and secret from Settings → Integrations.
- 23 tools: 19 reads, 4 writes. Read sections, keyspaces, channels, attributes, consent topics, tags and event types; segments with live profile counts and trends over up to 25 points in time; recent email sendings with sent, delivered, open, click, click-to-open, bounce, unsubscribe and spam-complaint numbers; event-level email exports; and single subscriber profiles (attributes, tags, events, consents).
- Writes are ask-first. Update profile attributes, add or remove tags, record events, and opt a subscriber in or out of a consent topic — each only after you approve it, until you allow it in Settings.
- The Email Marketing Optimization scheduled template now recognises APSIS One alongside Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Rule, Symplify and the rest of the email catalog.
- Works from any MCP client on
app.cogny.com/mcp, and from Bash via the Cogny CLI. - Included in Cogny Solo ($9/mo); bring your own agent and the standard MCP tools run under fair use.
What you can do with it
| Area | What Claude can do |
|---|---|
| Email sendings | List the latest sendings per section with full statistics, read one sending in detail, and export event-level rows (sends, opens, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes) for any period |
| Segments | List segments and their rules, count matching profiles right now (known, unknown or all), and see how a segment grew or shrank over time |
| Audience model | List sections, keyspaces, channels, attributes, consent topics, tags and event types |
| Profiles | Read one subscriber's attributes, tags, event history and consents |
| Profile writes | Set attributes, add or remove tags, record events, opt in or out of a consent topic |
In plain terms: "Which of last month's newsletters had the best click-to-open rate, and what did they have in common?" "How has the VIP segment grown since September?" "This customer asked to unsubscribe from the weekly offers — opt her out."
Writes are ask-first, and consent is treated as consent
The four write tools change real subscriber records, so they stay behind Cogny's approval gate until you allow them in Settings. Two deserve a closer look:
set_profile_consentdecides whether APSIS One may contact a person at all. Your agent should opt someone in only when that person asked for it themselves; opting out is how it honours an unsubscribe request. Every change carries a reason that is kept on the consent record.add_profile_eventsrecords events such as a purchase or a form submit — and events can start automations in APSIS One, including emails.
Nothing in the connector deletes, merges or imports profiles, and nothing sends an email or SMS.
What it doesn't do (yet)
- Recent sendings are the latest 500 per section; reach older ones through the email event export.
- SMS, Marketing Automation, Website and Forms & Pages activity statistics aren't exposed yet.
- Profiles are read one at a time by key (for email, the address); there is no profile search. Use segments and their counts for audience size.
How to connect it
- In APSIS One, open Account settings → API keys and create a key for Cogny. Give it access to the sections and keyspaces Cogny should work with.
- Copy the client ID and the client secret — the secret is shown only once.
- In your workspace Settings → Integrations, click Connect on the APSIS One card and paste both.
The credentials are stored encrypted and scoped to the one workspace. Disconnect any time, and delete the key in APSIS One if you stop using Cogny — APSIS stops accepting it immediately.
On trust
Every tool carries MCP behaviour annotations, so Cogny's UI and Claude.ai connectors know which tools read and which write. The 19 read tools change nothing in your account; the 4 write tools are marked as writes and wait for your approval.
If your email program runs on APSIS One, this puts your sendings, segments and subscribers one prompt away from your ad and analytics data. Connect it from your Cogny dashboard and ask your first question.
