Until now, Cogny Solo meant one thing: you connected Cogny to your own AI — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor — over MCP, and drove your marketing data from your terminal. That's a great workflow if you live in a coding agent. It's a wall if you don't.
So we added a second way in. Cogny Solo now has a built-in chat, right in the UI, preloaded with marketing skills. Sign up, open the chat, and ask — no agent to install, no MCP to wire, no OAuth dance for the AI.

Two ways to use Solo
1. The built-in chat — no setup. Not technical, or just want to ask a question without standing anything up? Open the chat in the Cogny dashboard. The skills are already there: ask for an SEO audit against your Search Console data, a competitor breakdown, or a set of ad-copy variations. It reads your connected channels and answers in plain language. This path runs on credits — new workspaces get starter credits free, and you top up when you want more.
2. Bring your own AI — over MCP. If you live in a coding agent, nothing changed for you. Connect Cogny's MCP to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or any MCP-capable client and drive every tool from your terminal. On the $9/mo Solo plan, MCP is unmetered under fair use — your agent pays for its own inference, so we don't meter the calls.

Why split chat and MCP pricing
We want the pricing to be honest about what costs us money. Standard MCP tool calls driven by your agent don't cost us inference — your agent pays for that — so on Solo they're unmetered. The built-in chat is different: Cogny pays a model provider every time it answers. So chat runs on metered credits rather than hiding inside a flat fee, on both the free tier and Solo. Starter credits let you try it for nothing; after that you only pay for what you use.
