HubSpot Form Submissions Are Now Readable by Your Cogny Agent
The HubSpot connection in Cogny reads your CRM: contacts, companies, deals, tickets. It couldn't read the forms those contacts came in through. For a lot of B2B teams that's the first number anyone asks about: how many demo requests did we get last week, and from which page?
HubSpot Forms is now a separate connection in Cogny. Your agent can list your HubSpot forms and read their submissions, in the same conversation as your ads, analytics and CRM data.
TL;DR
- Live now. Connect it from Settings → MCPs For Cogny → HubSpot Forms.
- Three read-only tools:
list_forms,get_formandget_form_submissions. - Auth is a HubSpot service key with the
formsscope. You create it in HubSpot in about a minute, and no app needs approving. - Works alongside the existing HubSpot connection. Keep that one for CRM records. This one adds forms.
- Available on any paid Cogny plan (Solo $9/mo and above).
What you can do with it
| Tool | What Claude can do |
|---|---|
list_forms | List every form in the account (regular embedded forms, pop-ups, captured non-HubSpot forms and blog comment forms), with its fields |
get_form | Read one form's fields: labels, types, which are required and which are hidden |
get_form_submissions | Read a form's submissions, newest first: when each came in, the page it was submitted on, and every field value. Set submitted_after to stop at the start of your reporting window |
For example: "How many demo requests came in last month, split by landing page?" "Which forms got no submissions this quarter?" "Compare HubSpot's form submissions with the form-submit conversions GA4 recorded. Are we losing any in tracking?"
The B2B Sales Pipeline and Landing Page & Conversion Funnel scheduled reports use it automatically when it's connected. They count inbound lead volume per form, and check GA4's form events against what HubSpot actually received.
How to connect it
- In HubSpot, click Development in the left sidebar, then Keys → Service keys. You need Super Admin or Developer Tools access.
- Click Create service key and give it a name, e.g. "Cogny".
- Click Add new scope, add forms, and create the key. Copy it.
- In Cogny, open Settings → MCPs For Cogny, click Connect on the HubSpot Forms card and paste the key.
Cogny needs only the forms scope.
On read-only trust and personal data
The connection is read-only. It lists forms and reads submissions. It can't create or edit a form, and it can't submit one. Every tool is marked read-only, so Cogny and any MCP client can see that before anything runs.
Form submissions usually include names, email addresses and phone numbers. The agent is told to fetch only the date window an analysis needs, and to report counts and trends rather than list people. Revoke the key in HubSpot at any time to cut access.
Connect HubSpot Forms from your Cogny dashboard and ask where last week's leads came from.
