    Meta Ads Is Live in Cogny: Facebook & Instagram, Finally

    This is the one people kept asking for.

    Of every channel on the Cogny roadmap, Meta Ads — Facebook and Instagram — was the most-requested by a wide margin. The backend has been ready for a while; what was missing was the connect button. As of today it's there. Meta Ads is a live, OAuth-connected MCP integration, available to every workspace in Settings → Cogny Managed MCPs.

    That makes it the fifth live paid-social channel in Cogny, alongside LinkedIn, Reddit, TikTok and X.


    TL;DR

    • Meta Ads is live now. Connect Facebook & Instagram from your warehouse Settings → Cogny Managed MCPs — two clicks, OAuth handled, no developer app or API key.

    What you can do with it

    Connecting Meta Ads adds the full Meta toolset to your MCP endpoint. The headline capabilities:

    In plain terms: instead of tabbing between Ads Manager and a spreadsheet, you ask. "Which Meta campaigns burned budget last week with no purchases?" "Compare Instagram Reels vs Facebook Feed CPA for the spring set." "Draft a lookalike off the last 30 days of purchasers." The answers come from the raw Graph API data, not a lagging export.

    Two ways in: chat or scheduled

    You can drive Meta Ads interactively from any MCP client, or let it run on a schedule. The meta-ads-optimization template is already in the role-based template library — point a scheduled prompt at it and you get a recurring Meta audit delivered automatically, with organizational memory so it doesn't repeat last week's findings.

    How to connect it

    1. Open your warehouse Settings → Cogny Managed MCPs.
    2. Click Connect on the Meta Ads card.
    3. Authorize Facebook & Instagram ad access. Cogny handles the OAuth handshake — no Meta developer app, no manually-minted token.
    4. Choose which ad accounts Cogny may read. Tokens are encrypted at rest and scoped to the single workspace; disconnect any time with one click.

    On trust

    Meta's API is a moving target — versions deprecate aggressively, and a self-hosted server breaks if you don't track every six-month cycle. Cogny tracks it for you.
