APSIS One MCP for your AI agent

Cogny's APSIS One integration exposes 23 tools (19 read, 4 write) to an AI agent over MCP. The same tools are available on every plan, from your own AI client or inside the Cogny app.

    • 19readonly reads data.
    • 4writecreates or changes something.
    • 0destructivedeletes, removes or replaces something.

Over MCP your own AI client asks before it runs a write. To take a tool away from your agent, block it in Settings → Integrations. Plans, approvals and limits

    set it up.

Add Cogny to your AI client once, then connect APSIS One in Cogny. Every APSIS One tool below appears in the client.

    • Claude CodeRun claude mcp add --transport http cogny https://app.cogny.com/mcp, then authorise in the browser.
    • Claude.aiSettings → Connectors → Add custom connector, URL https://app.cogny.com/mcp, then log in and pick your workspace.
    • ChatGPTSettings → Apps → Advanced settings → Developer mode → Create app, URL https://app.cogny.com/mcp, authentication OAuth.
    • CursorIn Cogny, Settings → Data & Integrations → Connect AI Clients shows the block to paste into .mcp.json, with an API key.
    • CodexRun codex mcp add cogny --url https://app.cogny.com/mcp.

    Notes

APSIS One is connected from Settings → Integrations with an API key you create in APSIS One under Account settings → API keys. APSIS generates a client ID and a client secret for the key; paste both into Cogny. EU and APAC accounts both work, and there is no region to choose. The key's own section and keyspace access decides what Cogny can read and write.

Most tools need a section discriminator (from list_sections), and profile tools also need a keyspace discriminator (from list_keyspaces) and the profile's key in that keyspace — for the email keyspace, the email address.

Reads cover sections, keyspaces, channels, attributes, consent topics, tags, event types, segments (with live profile counts and trends), recent email sendings with their statistics, email event exports, and one subscriber profile at a time (attributes, tags, events, consents). Writes cover profile attributes, tags, events and opt-in / opt-out consent; they change real subscriber records and stay ask-first until you allow them in Settings. Events can trigger APSIS One automations.

    Known gaps

    • Recent email sendings are the latest 500 per section; older sendings are reached through the email event export.
    • SMS, Marketing Automation, Website and Forms & Pages activity statistics are not exposed yet.
    • Profiles are read one at a time by key; there is no profile search or list. Use segments and their counts for audience size.
    • No tool creates, deletes, merges or imports profiles, and no tool sends an email or SMS.
    • Consent is set per topic and channel as opt-in or opt-out; double opt-in states are not supported by APSIS One's API.
