    Faire MCP for your AI agent

    Cogny's Faire integration exposes 18 tools (11 read, 6 write, 1 destructive) to an AI agent over MCP. The same tools are available on every plan, from your own AI client or inside the Cogny app.

    Over MCP your own AI client asks before it runs a write. To take a tool away from your agent, block it in Settings → Integrations. Plans, approvals and limits

    set it up.

    Add Cogny to your AI client once, then connect Faire in Cogny. Every Faire tool below appears in the client.

    Notes

    Faire is connected from Settings → Integrations with a brand access token you generate yourself in the Faire Brand Portal (Settings → API access token). It is the single-brand token path of Faire's External API v2 — no OAuth redirect or app registration. If you don't see an API token option in your Brand Portal, ask Faire support to enable External API access for your brand.

    Orders, products, product reviews, product types, inventory, prepacks and retailer profiles are read only. Writes cover on-hand and available inventory per SKU, wholesale/retail prices per SKU, product field edits, and order actions (accept into processing, add shipments, cancel). Order acceptance, cancellations and shipment tracking notify the retailer; writes stay ask-first until you allow them in Settings. No product or variant deletion is exposed.

    Reviews, retailer profiles and some write operations may be limited for a brand token — read access is centered on your own brand's orders and catalog.

    Write 6 · creates or changes something
