ActiveCampaign Is Live in Cogny: Contacts, Campaign Stats and Deals for Your Agent

If your email marketing and sales pipeline run on ActiveCampaign, your agent can now read them. ActiveCampaign is a live MCP integration in Cogny: your contacts, lists and tags, the results of every email campaign, your automations, and the deals in your CRM pipelines.

Connecting takes two values from ActiveCampaign's Developer settings. No app to install and no OAuth screen.

    TL;DR

    • Live now, included from Cogny Solo ($9/mo).
    • 22 tools: 13 reads and 9 writes.
    • Campaign results with the rates worked out: sent, opens, clicks, bounces and unsubscribes per campaign, plus open, click, click-to-open, bounce and unsubscribe rates.
    • CRM too: deals with value, stage, status and owner; pipelines and their stages; accounts.
    • Writes are ask-first: create or update a contact, subscribe or unsubscribe from a list, add or remove a tag, add a contact to an automation, create and update deals, add a deal note.
    • Nothing is deleted and nothing is sent from Cogny: no contact or deal deletes, and campaigns can't be sent or scheduled.

What you can do with it

    AreaReadsWrites (ask-first)
ContactsSearch by email, name or phone; filter by list, tag, status or date; one contact with its lists, tags, custom fields, deals and automationsCreate or update a contact by email, including custom fields
Lists & tagsLists, tags with how many contacts carry each, custom contact fieldsSubscribe or unsubscribe from a list; add or remove a tag
Email campaignsEvery campaign, newest send first, with counts and rates; one campaign with its tracked links—
AutomationsEach automation's status and how many contacts entered and exitedAdd a contact to an automation
DealsDeals filtered by pipeline, stage, status, owner or text, with currency totals; pipelines and stages; accountsCreate a deal, move it between stages, mark it won or lost, change value, title or owner; add a note

Questions this answers in one prompt:

    • "Which of last month's campaigns had the best click-to-open rate, and what did they have in common?"
    • "How many open deals are in the Proposal stage, and what are they worth?"
    • "Tag everyone who signed up from the webinar landing page as webinar-nov."
    • "Move the Acme deal to Won and add a note with what closed it."

And with your other connections in the same workspace, it can line up campaign results with what happened in GA4, or deals with the ad campaigns that brought the leads.

Writes ask first, and say when email will go out

Every write waits for your approval until you choose to allow it in Settings. A few ActiveCampaign actions reach your contacts, and the tools say so before you approve:

    • Adding a contact to an automation runs that automation for them, which usually means email.
    • Subscribing to a double opt-in list sends a confirmation email.
    • Tags can start automations in your account.

Unsubscribing from a list and removing a tag are marked as removals, so MCP clients flag them before they run.

    How to connect it

    1. In ActiveCampaign, open Settings → Developer.
    2. Under API Access, copy the URL and the Key.
    3. In Cogny, open Settings → Integrations, click Connect on ActiveCampaign and paste both.

The key is stored encrypted and is only ever sent to your own ActiveCampaign API address. It has the same permissions as the ActiveCampaign user it belongs to, so connect it as a user who can see what you want Cogny to work with. Disconnect any time, or reset the key in ActiveCampaign.

    What it doesn't do yet

Campaigns can't be built, sent or scheduled. There are no per-day campaign stats, no per-link click counts, and no site tracking, ecommerce orders, forms or SMS. The full list of tools and gaps is on the ActiveCampaign tools page.

Connect it from your Cogny dashboard and ask your first question about last month's campaigns.
