Constant Contact Is Now Live in Cogny: Campaign Reports, Contacts and Email Sends for Your Agent

If your newsletter runs on Constant Contact, the answer to "did that email work?" has lived in its own dashboard, away from your ads, analytics and site traffic. Starting today it doesn't.

Constant Contact is a live MCP integration in Cogny. Sign in once and your agent can read how every campaign performed, check the health of your lists, add contacts, and draft, test and schedule emails, next to everything else in your workspace.

    TL;DR

    • Live for every Cogny workspace now. Connect it under Settings → Integrations by signing in to Constant Contact. There's no API key to create.
    • 22 tools: 14 that read, 7 that write, and 1 that cancels a scheduled send.
    • Reads: campaign opens, clicks, bounces and opt-outs, per-link clicks, device split, contact lists with member counts, contacts, tags and segments.
    • Writes: add a contact, create a list, add contacts to lists, draft and edit an HTML email, send a test, and schedule or send a campaign.
    • Works on every plan, Free included. The tools are the same on a $9 Solo plan as on Cloud.

What you can do with it

    AreaWhat your agent can do
Campaign resultsUnique sends, opens, clicks, bounces and opt-outs for every sent campaign, newest first; detailed stats for up to 10 campaigns at once; clicks per link in one email
CampaignsList campaigns and read one in full: subject, preheader, sender, recipients and the email's HTML
Lists and contactsContact lists with member counts, saved segments, tags, and contact search by status, list, tag or opt-out date
Building an emailDraft a custom-code HTML email, edit its subject, recipients and HTML, and send a test to up to 5 addresses
SendingSchedule a campaign for a time, or send it now; cancel a scheduled send
Growing listsAdd a contact, create a list, and add existing contacts to lists

In plain terms: "Which of last month's emails got the most clicks, and which link did people click?" "Is our opt-out rate going up?" "How many active contacts are on the Members list?" "Draft next week's newsletter from our three newest blog posts, send me a test, and schedule it for Tuesday at 9."

    How to connect it

    1. In Cogny, open Settings → Integrations and click Connect on the Constant Contact card.
    2. Sign in to Constant Contact as the account owner, or as a user who may send campaigns and manage contacts.
    3. Approve the four permissions Cogny asks for. You land back in Cogny with the account connected.

Working from your own agent? Ask it to connect Constant Contact. It calls start_integration_oauth and hands you the sign-in link.

The connection stays signed in until you disconnect it in Cogny or revoke it in Constant Contact.

What reaches your contacts, and what Cogny won't do

Drafting and sending are separate tools. A draft reaches no one; a test goes only to the addresses you give it, up to 5; your list hears from you only when the agent calls the schedule tool. Ask your agent to show you the draft and the test before it schedules. To keep the connection to reports and drafts, block the send tool for your workspace in Settings → Integrations; a blocked tool isn't offered to any agent and is refused if called.

A few rules are built in:

    • Contacts stay opted out. Cogny has no tool that re-subscribes someone who unsubscribed. Contacts Cogny adds are recorded as added by the account owner, so add only people you have a right to email.
    • Emails go out from your confirmed addresses. A campaign can only be sent from an email address you've confirmed in Constant Contact. Your agent can list which ones those are.
    • No deletes. No tool deletes contacts, lists or campaigns.

What it can't do yet: emails built in Constant Contact's drag-and-drop editor can be read and reported on, but Cogny edits only custom-code (HTML) emails. The full tool list, with what each one reads or writes, is at cogny.com/integrations/constant-contact/tools.

Works with the Email Marketing Optimization template

On Cloud, the Email Marketing Optimization scheduled report now reads Constant Contact alongside Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Brevo, Braze and the other email platforms. It runs the same sent → opened → clicked → opted-out analysis on your campaigns, adds list health, and picks up Constant Contact's tools on its own once the account is connected.

If your email runs on Constant Contact, connect it from your Cogny dashboard and ask your agent what last month's campaigns did.
